One of my favorite hobbies is studying haute couture and the art behind all of the clothing. However, I am so not experienced in the fashion realm when it comes to styling myself. While I enjoy putting together, and accessorizing outfits, I am no Miranda Priestly.
Here are a couple of ensembles I put together that encompass my all-over-the-place style which combines girly and edgy influences.
Outfit #1: Velvet, fray, and studs.
Velvet off-the-shoulder top: Target, Jeans: American Eagle (I frayed the seams myself), Long choker: Forever 21, Tied choker: I made it myself from the scraps from fraying my jeans, LOL, and Studded sandals: Target.
These sandals are so old and beat-up at the toes but I seriously can’t get enough of them.
Outfit #2: Floral chic.
Floral top: American Eagle, Jeans: American Eagle, Burnt orange suede booties: Payless, Necklace: this was a gift so I have no idea!
These shoes are not as long as they look in this photo!!
Outfit #3: Silky, Suede business casual.
Suede blouse: JCPenny, Silk cutoff trousers: Ann Taylor, Tie up sandals: TJ Maxx, Chokers: Forever 21.
Outfit #4: Not-too-formal, boho-esque, girly.
Dress: Francesca’s, Chokers: Forever 21, Shoes: I stepped in mud .3 seconds before shooting this so as you can see I’m not wearing any! (That’s the redneck in me for ya’, hahaha) However, I would pair this with a nude, brown, or black strappy sandal.
Outfit #5: White, lacy, classic.
Top: Francesca’s, Jeans: American Eagle, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Choker: Forever 21.
(Sorry about my bra peeping through, LOL)
I know this may not be much but I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found some style inspiration from it!
